| 15 Year Study of Internal Energetics |
|
Jo has studied Taijiwuxigong (Qigong) and Taiji 37, has achieved teacher status for both disciplines, is an experienced Buqi therapist for both horses and humans and has effected positive change for many clients. Jo continues with her own development with this regard and has attended Dr Shen's meditation retreat every year for the last 15 yrs along with regular attendance to other courses and areas of studies. She has studied the Buqi system in depth and is recognised as the central figure for developing Buqi for Horses. Jo's practical and insightful knowledge of working with core principles and techniques allows her to impart the fundamentals of discovering and developing both energy awareness or 'chi' for individuals aswell as helping them to develop their own strength. Jo is able to help others make sense of the 'world of energy' particularly when transcribing that information over to working with horses, both on the ground and under saddle. Energy and Riding "I have been exploring energy forces and riding for many years now. I always thought that I would find the answers I was looking for through the alignment of horse and rider through classical dressage. But there was a huge link that was missing for me and that has taken years to realise and understand what that link was". "I realised that I could not find true energetic engagement with the horse unless I was working with the horse through a mutually consenting dialogue which was not solely a pressure based relationship. The purist in me believes that to have a true representation of working with the energy forces of the horse and human then it must be as a dance, in dialogue and with joy and love". "I have not undertaken this exploration lightly and have had to travel far and wide to gain the keys to unlock the secrets that I have been pursuing. There are many that talk about working with energy with horses but few who have actually realised it. I am still learning!" "I have been on a journey of stripping everything that has been known to me in a traditional sense. I have found a way, through groundwork, to develop artistry and mastery of movement which paves the way for something much more inspiring for riding. It all looks so much more inspiring now than it ever did!" |
