| Keeping An Eye |
|
The older horse often harbours known issues which the horse owner may want to literally 'keep an eye' on in terms of how they manage the individual horse. Thermal imaging can provide you with a record of areas of inflammation and responses to work or according to the season. Obviously your vet needs to be kept informed of progress and thermal imaging can help inform your training or management protocol of an individual horse. This horse has an ongoing arthritic condition of both hocks and observing the inflammatory response can allow the owner to moniter progression of change and soreness and act accordingly.
